Effective risk management requires a multidimensional and multiphase approach that includes information gathering, assessment, and improvement planning. Emergint provides effective solutions to help customers achieve their performance objectives and regulatory compliance requirements.

A Multidimensional, Multiphased Approach

Information Gathering

During the information gathering phase, Emergint will work closely with the customer to plan the Environmental Scan. The Environmental Scan will include examining documentation, such as policies and procedures, from several areas of the organization to determine each area's mission and objectives.

Then, Emergint conducts interviews with executive management, operational management, staff, partner organizations, external and internal service consumers, and even patients and scientific subjects to discover risk situations.

Assessment

After the information gathering phase, Emergint conducts an assessment phase to assess risk for

  • Likelihood of occurrence
  • Severity of the consequences
  • Mission criticality of reducing the risk
  • Extent to which the risk can be mitigated, reduced, or eliminated
  • Other players that would need to be involved in addressing the risk

Analysis

Finally Emergint enters into the analysis and recommendations phase which is intended to result in concrete recommendations for the reduction of or improved management of the identified risks.
