CACI Executive Chairman Dr. J.P. London to Present 2014 HR Leadership Ethics Award Named in His Honor
Dr. J.P. (Jack) London, CACI Executive Chairman and Chairman of the Board, will present the Dr. J.P. London Award for Promoting Ethical Behavior at the 13th Annual Human Resource Leadership Awards Gala on June 10 in Arlington, Va. The Human Resource Leadership Awards (HRLA) are the only independent awards that promote and advance excellence in the HR profession in the greater Washington, DC area. They celebrate outstanding service and strategic vision in the areas of organizational leadership, risk-taking, innovation, vision, communication, service to the broader community, and commitment to ethical behavior.
As a proponent for the importance of good character industry-wide, CACI has been a long-time corporate sponsor of the awards and helped to launch them in 2001. In 2002, the HRLA recognized CACI and Dr. London's contributions to the promotion of ethical behavior by establishing the ethics award and naming it in Dr. London's honor. It is awarded annually to the individual or team who best demonstrates considerable and enduring commitment to ethical business practices and character in the area of HR management.
This year's awards gala attendees will receive signed copies of Dr. London's new book, Character: The Ultimate Success Factor, an insightful and practical demonstration of how good character is the key to long-term success. Dr. London established and continues to champion CACI's culture of good character and encourages both employees and industry to practice and adhere to the values of honesty, integrity, commitment, and respect. All royalties from the sale of Character: The Ultimate Success Factor go to CAUSE, the wounded warriors support organization.
The HRLA Gala takes place on June 10 at 5:30 pm at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, Va. Tickets are available for purchase.
